CESENA MYSTERY TOUR
An evocative night walk in which we will recount some of Cesena’s historical and folkloristic mysteries.
Enclosed by walls in the strange shape of a scorpion, Cesena was a city of the Malatesta seigniory, located at the foot of the fortress they built. Also known as the ‘City of the Three Popes’, it is famous for housing the Biblioteca Malatestiana, Europe’s first civic library.
But also hidden in the heart of the city are strange stories, both ancient and recent: unexplainable phenomena surprisingly linked to facts and characters from other parts of the world.
Between street narratives and outdoor screenings, we will unveil some ‘secrets’ by walking a city circuit starting from the Masini fountain in Piazza del Popolo to the Palazzaccio in Via Torquato Tasso.
The event will end in the Palazzaccio gardens.
It is not a ring.
