- Day 1 - KM 12 | Height difference + 980m | Height difference - 630m Bagno di Romagna (FC) - Badia Prataglia (AR)
- Meet the guide at 8.00 a.m. in Piazza Ricasoli in Bagno di Romagna. Departure via the Pietrapazza mule track leading to the Monte Carpano Pass. We will reach and pass Passo dei Lupatti and Passo della Crocina, immersed in the wonderful National Park of the Casentino Forests. Expected arrival in Badia Prataglia by 5 p.m. and accommodation in facility
- Day 2 - KM 23 | altitude difference + 1270m | altitude difference - 980m Badia Prataglia (AR) - La Verna (AR)
- Departure at 8 a.m. in the direction of Passo dei Mandrioli (1173 metres above sea level). When we reach Biforco, we can find refreshment at the Vallesanta friends' club and, after a long, steep climb, we reach the Sacro Monte de La Verna. Many things to visit and everyone inside by 6.30 p.m. as the doors of the sanctuary inside which is the guesthouse where we will spend the night are closed
- Day 3 - KM 24 | Height difference + 700m | Height difference - 1,350m La Verna (AR) - Bagno di Romagna (AR)
- Departure at 8 a.m. in the direction of Monte Calvano, after which, passing Passo delle Gualanciole, we tackle the climb to Poggio Tre Vescovi and Buca del Tesoro. The majestic beech forest leads us first to Passo Rotta dei Cavalli and then to Passa Serra. At Nasseto, an ancient resting and refreshment point in the middle of the meadows, we descend along the mule track, the only link between Romagna and Tuscany until the 19th century, to the small hamlet of Le Gualchiere. In a few steps we will reach the starting point in Bagno di Romagna.

An evocative circular route from Bagno di Romagna and back, through two stages of the Cammino di San Vicinio and stage number 28 of the Via Romea Germanica
An itinerary that passes through the most evocative places of the Saint Vicinius Way. We will immerse ourselves in the heart of the Sacred Casentino Forests, listening to its whispers and rustlings, we will walk along the Passo Serra mule track that from Bagno di Romagna, since the Middle Ages, was travelled by devout pilgrims to cross the Apennines and reach Rome, we will arrive at the Sanctuary of La Verna, a place of silence and contemplation where St Francis of Assisi received the stigmata as well as the destination of numerous pilgrims who come here from all over the world.
