We’ll start together in the morning with a guided tour (available in Italian or English) to discover Ravenna’s iconic monuments, like the Basilica of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia, famous worldwide for their Byzantine mosaics. Thanks to expert guides and radio headsets, everyone in the family—kids too—will enjoy stories, legends, and fun facts that bring history to life.
After the tour, we’ll sit down for a delicious typical lunch in a local trattoria, where parents can enjoy a full menu (starter, first and second course, dessert, coffee) and children will have a dedicated kids’ menu, perfect for younger tastes.
In the afternoon, the whole family becomes artist for a day! Together, you’ll create a unique 25×25 cm mosaic during a special family-friendly mosaic workshop. With the guidance of professional artisans, kids and parents will learn ancient techniques and take home a beautiful handmade mosaic as a special memory of Ravenna.
The experience lasts around 6–7 hours, perfect for families visiting Ravenna for a day or stopping before or after a cruise.
